Parity tests for the new checkout

Problem
The POS issues tax receipts for clients who sell 24/7. The new checkout could not fail.
Decision
The same sale runs on the old POS and on the new one. The two payloads are compared field by field.
Result
12 Playwright suites. The new checkout is in production.

Voice search with embeddings in the browser

Problem
Finding a product by voice during a sale has to be fast, without one more service to pay for.
Decision
The vector search runs in the browser, on the catalog the POS already keeps there.
Result
Live in production, behind a per-company switch.

Personal project

AI video pipeline for YouTube

Problem
Each video cost about 2.50 USD. Images were the biggest cost: they were generated through an API.
Decision
One reference collage per scene, and then image generation in Google Labs Flow with browser automation.
Result
The pipeline made all 190 videos on the channel. Each one costs less than 0.50 USD.

  1. Sep 2023 – Present

    CasaMarket Frontend Lead · Full Stack Developer

    • Took over three production frontends: the web POS (React) and the Admin and ACL (Vue 2).
    • Led the frontend: assigned and tracked work for a junior and a semi-senior developer, and wrote the team standards.
    • Offline-first PWA: service worker, IndexedDB and sync for catalog, customers and pending sales.
    • AI in the product: voice search with embeddings in the browser. In development, a RAG and a copilot with role permissions enforced in code.

    • Full stack development on an education platform and on B2B SaaS platforms, with Vue, React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL.

  • Conversational copilot for the POS

    Role permissions live in code, never in the prompt: a guard checks the role before every tool call.

  • RAG over internal knowledge

    A model picks the business module, similarity search runs only inside that module, and every answer cites its source.

  • Coding agents in parallel

    I split the work into tickets and run coding agents in parallel worktrees, under integration contracts I write. One run delivered 7 tickets in about 3 hours with 34 passing tests. The planning, integration and verification were mine.

  • WeAreData: frontend for a retail analytics platform

    Built the frontend from scratch: architecture, stack and configurable dashboards. 391 of 546 commits (72%).

    Integrated a scanner-scale with a proprietary protocol and an ESP32 device.

  • Netlify to Cloudflare Pages migration CLI

    It reads build commands, output folders and environment variables from the Netlify API, creates each project on Cloudflare Pages and forces the first deploy. About 20 projects migrated.
